Philip E. Dayvault is an investigative researcher and an aspiring author who never really intended to write a book. Like so many other authors, he is simply responding to a personal calling, and…he has a great story to tell! However, any mistakes or errors found are to be blamed on Dayvault, but all the “Good News” is credited to Him, Jesus Christ.

Dayvault, an evangelical Christian and former FBI Special Agent and Laboratory Technician, has followed and researched the Shroud of Turin since 1973. As an investigative researcher, he utilizes all available resources to probe into this mystery with the skills of a highly-trained investigator. He is seeking to produce a DVD documentary which will graphically illustrate these highly visual images. When available, this book and documentary will be the first in the “Seek His Face” series offered by DATUM ENTERPRISE, LLC. Other books and documentaries will be released in the future. Keep checking this website for periodic updates. The Image depictions and interpretations by Dayvault are the result of years of study and divine inspiration. It is Dayvault’s sincere hope and prayer that this work will be received by all peoples in like manner in which it was given—by the Grace of God Almighty.

In addition to his professional experience with the FBI, Dayvault also has experience in international sales, investment brokerage, management consulting, non-profit management, and independent investigative research. He is a member of the ShroudScience Group, an internet forum consisting of numerous Shroud researchers worldwide. He is also a member of Christians United for Israel, CUFI, a grassroots organization of Christians in support of the state of Israel. In addition to his passion for seeking new historical and religious discoveries, Dayvault enjoys the outdoors, traveling and a good game of chess. He has been blessed with a wonderful daughter, Sarah, and son-in-law, Hunter, a loving close-knit family and good friends. Dayvault resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.
